Concord Law Group is an independent law firm specializing in estate planning, asset protection planning, business succession planning, probate and trust administration and long term care planning. We act as family advisors, helping families to articulate and implement a vision of their unique legacy.

The biggest challenge facing most clients of Concord Law Group is integration of their financial and family affairs into a coherent wealth management plan that accurately reflects their values, goals and family heritage. We work collaboratively with clients and their other trusted advisors, such as financial planners, accountants, bankers and insurance agents, to achieve the clients' objectives with planning techniques that are both practical and sophisticated. Concord Law Group strives to provide its clients with individual attention and integrated planning.

Pro Bono Work:

There is a long tradition in the law of lawyers performing pro bono work in addition to the work they get paid to do. At Concord Law Group, this tradition continues in the form of regular work for the Concord Council on Aging's "Ask A Lawyer" program, a service that allows elders to come in and get free legal advice.

In addition, Concord Law Group periodically engages in pro bono work for community groups, and counts among its pro bono clients a local church and non-profit children's theater group.

Lindsay Smith Kafka also is a member of the Women's Bar Association Amicus Brief Committee, which drafts and submits "friend of the court" advisory briefs in cases of interest to the women's bar.

Service Partners:

While Concord Law Group is a small firm, it is nevertheless committed to the highest level of service to clients. As part of that commitment, Concord Law Group has developed strong working relationships with other professionals who are available to help CLG clients with other needs they may have, including other attorneys, professional trustees, financial and investment advisors, insurance agents and long-term care service providers. In short, when a client of Concord Law Group has a need that cannot be met in-house, we will provide that client with a referral to a reputable, experienced and ethical professional who has the appropriate expertise. When we give such a referral, clients can be sure that they are being referred to someone that has been personally vetted by the firm.
